Permanent Chabad Synagogue/Kosher Restaurant in Guangzhou Inauguration a Big Success!

Dear Friends,

We just wanted to thank all our supporters for helping to make the Inauguration of the newly opened Permanent Chabad Synagogue and Kosher Restaurant in Guangzhou a huge success. Please spread the word and let everyone know that we are here and offer Daily and Shabbat Minyanim, Kosher Meals all week long and we are here to assist in any way we can and make your stay in Guangzhou as hospitable as we can. We welcome all comers all year round whether you be on a trip or at a Trade Show.

From our humble beginnings 10 years ago in a suite in the China Hotel, we have come a long way and finally have our own permanent facilities. When we started the community back then, there were just a few local families and occasional overseas visitors resulting in Shabbat attendances of 15-20 people. We recently had 150 people attending our Shabbat Services. We look forward to the continued growth of the Guangzhou Jewish Community, as well as to making travelers feel welcome.
